Hey, did you known that YMCA was one of the first youth organisations to pioneer the detached youth work approach known today as "Street Work" back in 1844 on the streets of London?  Next time you see one of our street workers with their distinctive Street Team jackets why not tell them this fact and see how they can help you with advice and information on jobs, education and fun opportunities at your YMCA.  You can catch them during our youth club nights on Paisley High Street, Linwood, Johnstone and Ferguslie Park

Paisley YMCA's Big Music Project Hub supports young people across Renfrewshire to access training, certification and music opportunities to gain the knowledge and confidence needed to develop your employability skills in the music industry.  Contact a member of the youth work staff to take your music career to the next level!

Generation Code is a programme that provides training to help youth workers with no prior experience, gain the relevant knowledge to help engage and teach young people essential basic coding.  If your youth organisation is based in Renfrewshire and want to know more or would like to develop your own coding clubs but not sure where to start, then contact a member of the youth team now.

Do you have an old photo, story to tell or a memory about Paisley YMCA that you'd like to share with us? We'd love to hear from you!

185@TheY is a Big Lottery Programme that celebrates 185 years of Paisley YMCA.  We will be creating a public art exhibition showing key milestones and events throughout our history as well as celebrating individuals and groups who have achieved great things for the people and town of Paisley through their involvement with our YMCA.  To top it off our programme of celebrations we will be hosting a community afternoon tea.  Look out for updates in the local press and on our Facebook page.
